Cindy Arnold - Creator of Live Paint LLC

Cindy Arnold is an actress, director, singer, writer, songwriter, playwright, storyteller and teacher. She is the creator and one of the performers in the company Live Paint LLC. She received a degree in Theatre at the University of Florida and then moved to New York where she landed a job traveling through Europe performing as the lead actress in the musical Hair. New York is also where she created Live Paint and then traveled with the company through Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia collecting stories and cultural artifacts. As the company has matured she has included traveling with Live Paint in the United States, Ireland, Mexico and Jamaica. Next stop, the Fringe Festival in Scotland!

Recently a newspaper reporter interviewed Cindy where she shared her love of teaching theatre:

"My biggest passion is inspiring students."

"Being in touch with your own emotions is kind of the compass that allows us to move through life."

"I want my students to leave with the belief they can do anything."

Cindy on the importance of theatre:

"(Theatre)...It lends itself to a bit of storytelling and when you know your own story it allows you to be more confident. I am passionate about working with students in theatre and ...teaching them how to move their bodies, how to use their words and how to be real with their emotions. It's amazing."
